Experience
- At least 7 years of relevant experience is specified; the description separately gives UAE experience thresholds of at least 3 years and 5 years.
- Experience as a Finishing / Architectural Inspector on building construction or engineering consultancy projects is requested.
- Experience across villa developments, residential complexes, high-rise towers, and mixed-use projects is requested.
- Familiarity with local authority standards and inspection procedures is requested.
Skills and competencies
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Inspection, coordination, and reporting skills; attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Inspect flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, joinery, doors, windows, painting, waterproofing, and external finishes.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, mock-ups, and quality standards; review contractor inspection requests and conduct stage-wise inspections.
- Identify defects and non-conformities, issue field observations, prepare snag lists, and monitor rectification.
- Inspect delivered materials against approved submittals and coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor site activities for quality, safety, and project compliance; prepare inspection reports and photographic documentation.
- Participate in completion and handover inspections, prepare final snag lists, and verify contractor close-out.
