EHS Engineer role overseeing health, safety, and environmental compliance across project sites.

Experience and Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience is required, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
- The role requires a detail-oriented, assertive professional committed to safe working environments.
- The position involves working with project teams, contractors, clients, and authorities.
Core Responsibilities
- Review contractor EHS plans, conduct audits, and monitor regulatory compliance.
- Carry out daily HSE inspections and regular site visits with the Project Management Team.
- Represent the consultant during authority safety inspections and close out observations.
- Lead weekly HSE meetings and issue meeting minutes.
- Report observations and audit findings to contractors and clients.
- Review safety programs, method statements, risk assessments, and safety reports.
- Issue safety violation notices and NCRs where required.
- Verify Permit-to-Work systems and HSE compliance of equipment and materials.
Safety and Emergency Duties
- Support incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure preventive actions are implemented.
- Monitor environmental controls and report non-compliance.
- Advise on hot and extreme weather safety measures.
- Coordinate HSE training, inductions, safety procedures, and hazardous material handling.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and coordinate with external emergency services when required.
