The position grows accounts, maximizes property revenue, achieves personal and team goals, and supports timely service delivery for booked business.
Sales and revenue activities
- Target accounts, markets, and segments through proactive solicitation and account development.
- Manage complex incoming opportunities, qualify and solicit business, and focus on high-potential accounts.
- Develop sales plans and creative event proposals with partners; close opportunities based on market conditions and property needs.
- Upsell packages and negotiate contracts to maximize revenue.
- Assess competitor strengths, economic trends, supply, and demand to guide sales activity.
- Build customer relationships through sales calls, entertainment, familiarization trips, trade shows, and community engagement.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and grow customer account share.
Booked business and service
- Coordinate business handover for proper and timely service delivery.
- Participate in site visits and prepare proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence for booked business.
- Execute customer service and property brand standards throughout the sales process.
Education and experience
- Either a two-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, plus five years of sales and marketing or related professional experience; or a four-year bachelor's degree in one of those fields, plus three years of related experience.
