Full-time, non-management Multi Property Reservations Agent role in Doha West Bay, Doha, Qatar.
Process guest reservation requests and support a memorable guest experience.
Reservations and guest service
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Identify room needs; verify room-type and rate availability; explain guarantee, special-rate, and cancellation policies.
- Accommodate and document special requests and answer questions about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue; enter reservation details and correct special-room codes and rates in the system.
- Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns.
Workplace standards and teamwork
- Follow company policies, confidentiality requirements, asset-protection rules, and quality standards; maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns.
- Move and place items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance; perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is required.
