Senior Quantity Surveyor - Landscaping

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage post-contract quantity surveying and commercial activities for landscaping projects.
• Prepare, review, and submit interim payment applications and monthly progress valuations.
• Measure and value completed softscape, hardscape, irrigation, paving, planting, and associated landscape infrastructure works.
• Prepare, evaluate, negotiate, and track variations, change orders, and additional works.
• Monitor budgets, costs, cash flow, commitments, and forecast final costs; prepare and review BOQs, material quantities, and cost estimates.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier payments, valuations, and final accounts; prepare contractual claims, supporting documentation, and cost reports.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope changes for commercial risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, estimation, and finance teams; liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues.
• Maintain quantity surveying records, cost reports, variation logs, and payment trackers; support close-out, final account negotiations, and commercial handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of UAE quantity surveying experience.
• Strong landscape construction experience, including softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, paving, and external works.
• Proven expertise in post-contract quantity surveying, interim payment applications, variations, claims, subcontractor accounts, and final accounts.
• Good knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and commercial reporting.
• UAE construction and landscaping project experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying or cost management tools.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
