Ejadah seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong facilities management background to manage mechanical systems and maintenance across FM sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance and operation of HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, pumps, and other mechanical building systems.
- Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programmes; investigate recurring failures and recommend corrective action.
- Review technical drawings and documentation, monitor asset performance, and support lifecycle and replacement planning.
- Coordinate FM, MEP, subcontractor, supplier, and site teams; monitor contractor performance and maintenance quality.
- Provide breakdown and emergency support, prepare reports and maintenance records, and ensure HSE, statutory, and FM-procedure compliance.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and strong professional experience in Facilities Management or Building Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, pumps, plumbing, mechanical building services, PPM, reactive maintenance, asset management, and MEP operations.
- Troubleshooting, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills; ability to supervise technical teams and coordinate stakeholders.
- Senior Mechanical Engineer or similar FM engineering experience is highly preferred; GCC FM experience is an advantage.
