Manage and supervise MEP maintenance activities across managed facilities.
The role focuses on facilities management and building maintenance, not construction or project work alone.
Maintenance and operations
- Manage PPM, corrective, and reactive maintenance for MEP systems.
- Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and associated building services maintenance.
- Inspect facilities, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification.
- Supervise technicians, specialist subcontractors, and service providers.
- Monitor work orders through CAFM/CMMS systems and ensure proper updates and closure.
- Meet contractual SLA/KPI requirements and troubleshoot MEP issues.
- Review schedules, checklists, service reports, and technical documents.
- Prepare maintenance reports, incident reports, and technical observations.
- Coordinate with clients, internal FM teams, vendors, and contractors; monitor contractor performance.
- Maintain HSE, quality, and FM operational compliance; support asset inspections, snagging, and handover rectification.
- Assist with emergency breakdowns and critical MEP maintenance issues.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or relevant engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Facilities management or building maintenance experience is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Hands-on experience with PPM, reactive maintenance, breakdowns, and work-order management.
- Experience supervising MEP technicians and specialist contractors.
- Understanding of SLA/KPI-driven FM operations; troubleshooting, reporting, and coordination skills.
Preferred experience and skills
- Knowledge of CAFM/CMMS systems is preferred.
- GCC facilities management experience is preferred.
- Hard services and building maintenance experience are relevant to the role.
