Prepare accurate, coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings based on project requirements and MEP provisions.
The role is based in DIFC, Dubai, and focuses on fit-out projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP, coordination, and as-built drawings for fit-out projects.
- Develop drawings from existing and proposed MEP provisions and incorporate approved design changes and site modifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and applicable local authority regulations.
- Maintain drawing revisions and accurate document-control records.
- Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and ELV systems.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and material schedules when required.
- Keep drawings accurate and updated to reflect site conditions and project requirements.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of MEP drafting experience; fit-out project experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems and familiarity with fire-fighting and ELV systems.
- Experience preparing MEP coordination and as-built drawings.
- Understanding of drawing revisions and document control.
- Strong coordination and communication skills and ability to work with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
