Role overview
Support BYD's growing UAE operations alongside the regional legal team, focusing on distributor relations, labor compliance, and local regulation.
Responsibilities
- Handle UAE distributor legal matters and review commercial agreements.
- Support legal activities and operational management for UAE subsidiaries.
- Manage employment contracts and UAE labor-law compliance using Qiwa and Mudad.
- Coordinate with external counsel on regulatory matters, PDPL, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor legislative updates and interpret their business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a Saudi university.
- At least 2 years of legal experience in-house or at a law firm.
- Professional English and Arabic proficiency, including document drafting and communication with authorities.
- Practical knowledge of UAE government portals, including Qiwa and Mudad, and basic KSA corporate and labor regulations.
- UAE or Saudi legal practicing license is prioritized.
- Automotive or high-tech experience is preferred.

- Adaptability and strong communication skills for work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
