The Product Manager supports localization and timely launches for an assigned passenger car portfolio in Saudi Arabia.
The role coordinates product requirements and processes across the product lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams and R&D in Saudi Arabia and China.
Key responsibilities
- Manage an assigned passenger car portfolio, including competitor benchmarking, pricing strategy, positioning, and value proposition.
- Coordinate vehicle launches in line with business objectives and go-to-market strategy.
- Communicate product features, updates, and changes to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and R&D teams to deliver enhancements based on customer feedback and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including Market Product Specification sheets.
- Coordinate with third-party automotive partners and suppliers.
- Work with Customer Experience to improve the customer journey and address product inquiries.
- Drive improvements based on customer feedback, market insights, and performance data.
Requirements
- Proven automotive industry experience; product management or product planning experience at an OEM headquarters, national sales company, or distributor is ideal.
- Electric-vehicle exposure is preferred.
- Demonstrated ownership in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Analytical, data-driven, structured, and fact-based problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with NEV elements such as ADAS, emissions standards, or functional safety regulations.
- Valid passenger-car driver's license.
- Mandarin language skills are an advantage, but not a requirement.
