Role purpose

Own the regional truck offer and turn product capability into profitable, reference-building business.

Lead portfolio, positioning, pricing and total cost of ownership, product readiness, and sales enablement across the region.

Reports to the Regional Head, Africa–Middle East–Türkiye; key interfaces include the global truck business unit, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, Homologation, and Customer Service.

Key responsibilities

  • Define regional truck strategy and segment priorities across light-, medium-, and heavy-duty applications.
  • Build country product and segment roadmaps based on market volume, duty cycles, regulation, competition, price points, and electrification economics.
  • Own product positioning, target transaction prices, total cost of ownership logic, and commercial guardrails with Finance and market teams.
  • Translate customer requirements into disciplined product requests and distinguish must-have adaptations from low-return complexity.
  • Lead launch readiness across specification, homologation, bodybuilder interfaces, charging, service, parts, training, and sales tools.
  • Support strategic fleets, tenders, and demonstrations; create value propositions and reference cases.
  • Manage product lifecycle, competitor intelligence, and sales forecasts; provide structured input to global product planning.
  • Coach cluster and direct-sales teams on applications, value selling, and objection handling.

Success measures

Truck order intake, revenue, gross or contribution margin, and market share.

Priority-segment pipeline and conversion; product and launch readiness on time.

Total cost of ownership competitiveness, price realization, reference fleets, and repeat orders.

Forecast accuracy and returns from adaptation business cases.

Candidate profile

  • 10+ years in commercial vehicles, including truck product management, sales engineering, or business development.
  • Deep understanding of truck applications, payload, body integration, duty cycles, and fleet economics.
  • EV truck, charging, and transition-planning experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong pricing, business-case, and cross-functional leadership capability.
  • Fluent English; Arabic, Turkish, or French is advantageous.
  • Frequent regional travel.

Leadership expectations

Be ambitious while remaining fact-based and hands-on; put the customer and vehicle uptime at the center.

Collaborate across functions and cultures, make ownership visible, communicate concisely, escalate early, and follow commitments through to measurable results.
