Lead a QA team and expand automated test coverage to support dependable software releases.
Partner with product and engineering teams to automate UI and web service/API scenarios and improve the automation framework.
Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor testers, set direction, and unblock delivery.
- Gather and analyze system requirements with cross-functional partners.
- Develop end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
- Plan testing activities to maximize coverage and efficiency.
- Build, enhance, and run automation scripts.
- Log, track, and validate defects through resolution.
- Set quality standards, promote best practices, and review QA metrics.
- Stay current with testing tools and participate in QA meetings.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of professional JavaScript-focused automation testing experience.
- Advanced JavaScript and TypeScript expertise with 4–6 years of hands-on delivery.
- 1+ year coordinating or leading testing efforts.
- Proficiency with Playwright, Mocha, and Chai for UI automation.
- Familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer, and Cypress.
- Experience building web service and API test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of WebdriverIO for UI testing.
- B2+ Upper-Intermediate English level.
