Role overview
Manages electrical engineering activities for luxury villa construction projects, from design review and installation through testing, commissioning, and handover.
Ensures work meets project specifications, quality standards, budget, and schedule requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise electrical installation works for luxury villa projects.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP teams, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations, local authority requirements, and project specifications.
- Monitor site progress and adherence to approved schedules; conduct inspections and quality-control checks.
- Oversee containment, power distribution, lighting, ELV, and grounding works.
- Manage testing, commissioning, and final handover; resolve technical issues and site clashes.
- Ensure HSE compliance and prepare progress reports, RFIs, inspection records, and technical documentation.
- Support procurement evaluations of electrical materials and vendors.
- Lead and mentor junior electrical engineers and site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in MEP projects.
- At least 5 years of experience handling luxury villa projects in the UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations and UAE building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
