Construction contracts role supporting efficient, compliant contract management and successful project delivery within budget and schedule.
The description refers to the position as Contracts Administrator.
Key accountabilities
- Draft, review, and revise client, subcontractor, and supplier contracts; finalize subcontracts in line with the procurement plan.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure legal, regulatory, and company-policy compliance; monitor subcontractor compliance through contract closeout.
- Assess contractual risks and apply mitigation measures; maintain complete contract and correspondence records.
- Coordinate with project, legal, finance, client, subcontractor, and supplier stakeholders.
- Report on contract status, procurement activity, and project metrics; identify process improvements and cost savings.
- Support supplier and subcontractor selection using pricing, quality, and performance criteria; resolve disputes.
- Enforce HSE and quality policies, report and resolve violations, and implement the HSE management system.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–7 years of proven contract management experience; construction industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and industry-specific regulations is required.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance.
