Position overview

Senior Accountant role supporting finance operations and the commercial, sales, and customer lifecycle at a UAE real estate developer.

Works with Sales, CRM, Legal, Customer Service, Projects, and Senior Management from booking through project handover.

The role requires knowledge of SPAs, Salesforce CRM, escrow management, project accounting, collections, financial reporting, and UAE compliance.

SPA and sales accounting

  • Review and validate SPAs before execution; check financial terms against approved pricing, payment plans, policies, and management approvals.
  • Monitor payment schedules and milestone collections; coordinate SPA amendments, transfers, and cancellations with Sales and Legal.
  • Verify booking amounts, instalments, discounts, incentives, rebates, and special approvals; recognize revenue in line with SPAs and IFRS.
  • Use Salesforce CRM or similar platforms to track transactions and payments; reconcile sales records with ERP and accounting systems.
  • Monitor booking status, payment milestones, customer ledgers, and payment history; report on collections, balances, revenue, and commissions.
  • Coordinate data integrity across Sales, Collections, Finance, and CRM; support automation of commission, payment tracking, and invoice monitoring.

Collections and finance operations

  • Monitor receivables, booking payments, instalments, and post-handover payments; coordinate overdue account follow-up with collection teams.
  • Prepare aging reports, receivable analysis, reconciliations, and collection forecasts; support refunds, settlements, and payment adjustments.
  • Manage finance and accounting operations, project accounting, development expenditure, escrow accounts, project cash movements, payment approvals, treasury transactions, and fund disbursements.
  • Prepare management reports and financial insights to support business decisions; maintain audit-ready records and supporting documentation.
  • Apply accurate UAE VAT treatment and ensure compliance with RERA, AML, escrow regulations, and other UAE real estate standards.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • 8–10 years of finance experience, including 5–8 years with a UAE real estate developer.
  • Strong expertise in SPAs and developer finance operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, ERP systems, and real estate financial systems.
  • Strong experience in customer collections, receivables, instalment payment plans, and revenue accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
