Project Manager – Client Representative role overseeing premium luxury real estate developments and protecting the client’s interests throughout the project lifecycle.
The role is presented as an opportunity for experienced contractor-side or client-side project managers, with delivery accountability for cost, time, quality, and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Act as primary client representative and coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee construction execution for quality, safety, and compliance; review and approve engineering submissions, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and timelines to support on-time delivery.
- Manage variations, claims, and contractual matters in line with project objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality benchmarks aligned with luxury standards.
Position requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent; 12–18 years of construction or real estate experience.
- Strong experience in luxury villas, premium residential towers, luxury hotels, or upscale mixed-use developments.
- UAE experience is mandatory; strong understanding of contracts, variations, claims, and commercial controls.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP certification, experience with leading UAE developers, and FIDIC exposure are preferred.
- Candidates may come from senior project manager roles at reputed main contractors or client-side project manager roles at real estate developers.
Required skills
- Review contractor engineering submissions and oversee quality assurance through detailed site inspections.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage complex project timelines, and deliver high-pressure, high-value projects.
