Oversee construction quality and finishing standards across luxury real estate developments.
Conduct site inspections, monitor civil and architectural works, identify defects, and coordinate rectification to meet approved drawings and project standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect civil, architectural, and finishing works, including concrete, blockwork, ceilings, flooring, marble, tile, and joinery.
- Check workmanship, materials, mock-ups, and finishing details against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify defects, issue inspection comments, track corrective works, and maintain snagging and defect records.
- Coordinate quality issues and review inspection requests, method statements, and material submissions.
- Monitor progress and compliance with approved materials, construction methods, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Conduct pre-handover inspections, follow up snagging and de-snagging, and verify works before recommending acceptance.
- Escalate recurring quality issues and recommend solutions to prevent rework and delays.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- 8–10 years of experience as a Quality Control Engineer with a contractor or Site Inspector with a consultant.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, finishing materials, and inspection procedures.
- Experience with leading UAE developers is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to manage high-pressure, high-value projects.
