A digital marketing agency seeks an SEO/GEO Manager to lead organic search strategies and strengthen client visibility across Google and AI search platforms, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO and GEO strategies across client accounts to drive qualified leads and measurable business results.
- Own keyword research, topic architecture, and content planning across different industries.
- Lead technical SEO covering crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, hreflang, and site migrations.
- Improve AI search visibility through entity positioning, answer-focused content, and AI citation tracking.
- Guide content teams on search intent, accuracy, and E-E-A-T.
- Oversee digital PR, link building, local SEO, and Google Business Profiles.
- Report on rankings, organic lead quality, conversions, AI visibility, and campaign performance.
- Work with clients, developers, content teams, and paid media specialists.
- Manage freelancers and junior team members and ensure timely account delivery.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of SEO experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Digital marketing agency experience and a track record of managing multiple client accounts.
- Proven results in competitive lead-generation sectors such as business setup, real estate, finance, or legal services.
- Hands-on GEO/AEO experience and understanding of how AI platforms source and cite content.
- Strong technical SEO skills and proficiency in Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, or Ahrefs.
- Knowledge of the UAE/MENA search landscape.
- Experience with structured data and CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or headless systems.
- Strong client communication, reporting, and presentation skills, including CRM attribution and Looker Studio or similar dashboards.
- Arabic SEO, programmatic SEO, GCC digital PR, and basic Python or SQL skills are advantageous.
