  • seaside retreat in the heart of Qatar’s capital; experience the completely new Four Seasons Hotel Doha, reimagined with modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views. From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.
  • We are currently seeking a **Sales Manager** to join our **Cluster Sales team** at **Four Seasons Hotels Qatar** , representing **Four Seasons Hotel Doha** and **Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl‑Qatar** .
  • This position reports directly to the **Senior Director of Sales** and plays a key role in driving revenue performance across both properties.
  • Administer the sales program of the hotel
  • Implements all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Commercial plan.
  • Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals, which contribute to the Hotels budgets.
  • To solicit from assigned local corporate/ long stays / group/ leisure segments for rooms, food & beverage business, banquet business and all hotel business from sales activities.
  • To write strategic sales action plans for assigned local corporate/ long stays / group/ leisure segments.
  • Closely monitors accounts revenue and business productions
  • Maximizes up-selling opportunities whenever possible.
  • Attends related work functions and promotional events (i.e. trade shows) and promotes sales (rooms, catering, and other facilities and services) for the hotel.
  • Plans sales trips, under the direct approval of Director of Sales or Commercial Director to major market areas, calling on accounts within the specific market areas. The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales on potential markets, which need coverage.
  • Reviews direct competition and conducts regular research.
  • With the assistance of the office supporting staff to keep and maintain the hotel data base and Central Information System in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Complete weekly Golden S&C sales calls report.
  • To maintain an up-to-date record of all account corporate profiles on Golden S&C.
  • Conduct telemarketing and research from internet and internal resources to qualify accounts.
  • To project a professional image when representing The Hotel.
  • Host corporate familiarization groups, hotel tours, attend trade shows or sales trips, webinars and assist colleagues whenever deemed necessary.
  • Handle any duties as designated by the Director of Sales.
  • Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales, telephone, fax and written communications.
  • To strive to meet / exceed sales target set by the Director of Sales.
  • Carry out the day-to-day sales activities in local corporate/ long stays / group/ leisure segments for rooms under the set policies and procedures.
  • Develop new accounts by mapping specific business and buying tendencies.
  • Conducts site inspections.
  • Maintains close communication with the Meetings and Events team in the group process of their accounts
  • Attends the pre-event meeting and post-event meeting as required, chaired by Meetings and Events team
  • To cross-sell other sister properties, F&B, vouchers, SPA whenever possible.
  • To liaise with all WSOs to generate and follow up on potential sales leads.
  • Responsible for the training and development of other junior corporate and commercial sales staff the finest professional standard and lead by example.
  • Create and execute direct sales plan specific for new business development.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in luxury hotels or resorts in a similar role
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with guests, employees, and third parties in a manner that consistently reflects Four Seasons Brand Values
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong bilingual writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
