Role purpose
Ensure assigned restaurant shifts run smoothly and provide support, direction, and assistance to subordinates.
Shift responsibilities
- Run daily restaurant operations and ensure employees are present and work is completed on time.
- Supervise staff and organize scheduling, staffing, and work assignments; arrange coverage for absences.
- Support and direct staff, work alongside the team, and help resolve customer complaints and other problems.
- Train new employees on safety policies and workplace procedures and maintain training records.
- Maintain quality control, product safety and freshness, and order accuracy.
- Ensure customers receive the products and services they ordered; report issues and quality defects to the manager.
- Keep the workplace safe and clean and enforce applicable safety policies.
- Prepare and reconcile cash registers and keep them stocked with change during the shift.
Professional requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally in a fast-food restaurant, with good knowledge of restaurant operations.
- UAE experience is an advantage.
Interpersonal requirements
- Ability to work under pressure; organized and team-oriented.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and good MS Office skills.
- Motivated and able to motivate staff; sociable and aligned with the brand image.
- Commitment to developing and maintaining a premium brand.
Required language
- English is required.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is AED 3,400 per month.
- Duty meals are provided; accommodation is not available.
Work schedule
- Full-time, six days per week.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai.
