Assists the Chef de Partie with food preparation, stocking supplies, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion food on time to required quality and quantity standards, following recipes accurately.
- Weigh ingredients and use appropriate quantities; maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
- Ensure products are fresh, suitable, and stored properly; keep the section running smoothly during the Chef de Partie’s absence.
- Reduce spoilage and waste, store food properly, and exercise portion control to manage costs.
- Follow basic food hygiene guidelines and help uphold kitchen health and safety standards.
Professional requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of full-time work experience; previous F&B industry experience is required.
- Knowledge of high-quality food preparation and maintaining high hygiene standards.
Interpersonal requirements
- Works quickly and efficiently, pays attention to detail, and can work under pressure.
- Able to learn on the job, communicate and interact well, and adapt to competing demands.
- Listening skills, adaptability, thoroughness, methodical working, and organization.
Pay and benefits
- Salary is AED 1,500 per month.
- Shared bachelor’s accommodation and duty meals are included; the stated package is not negotiable.
Schedule
- Full-time, six days per week.

- In-person work in Dubai.
