Role purpose
The Junior Packer handles food packaging tasks, checks products and containers before packing, and maintains proper records.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Packer with inspecting containers and products against packing specifications.
- Mark and label containers or products, and record product and packaging information on specified forms.
- Remove completed or defective products, seal containers or food storage properly, and load products into bags.
- Assist Senior Packers as needed.
Professional requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- 0–1 year of full-time work experience.
- Knowledge of maintaining high hygiene standards.
- The posting also lists one year of packing experience as required.
Interpersonal requirements
- Ability to work with a team, meet strict deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills; passion for work.
