Role overview

Reservations duties

• Assist with room reservations, inquiries, and booking requests; respond to guest calls and emails promptly.
• Provide information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and services.
• Enter and maintain accurate booking records and assist with confirmations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and other departments for a smooth guest experience.
• Prepare daily reservation reports and follow up on pending bookings.
• Support promotion of facilities, upgrades, packages, and other services where appropriate.

Service and operations

• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality and follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Support the Reservations department’s daily operations and assist colleagues when needed.
• Create thoughtful, personalized moments through warm, attentive, and refined service.

Experience and skills

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous reservations, front office, or guest services experience is an asset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; warm, welcoming, professional personality and passion for hospitality.
• Basic hotel operations and reservation-procedure knowledge; good computer skills and willingness to learn hotel reservation systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Team and workplace

• The role is with the Reservations team at Alwadi Hotel Doha, an MGallery boutique hotel in Msheireb Downtown Doha.
