Role overview
The Mixologist role offers an opportunity to develop craft, service, and leadership in a hotel bar.
Responsibilities
- Run day-to-day bar operations to provide an excellent guest experience.
- Help create and maintain hotel beverage menus and innovate in response to current trends.
- Train and mentor restaurant colleagues on cocktails and beverage knowledge.
- Support revenue targets and keep beverage and other costs within set budgets.
- Attend daily pre-service briefings and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Maintain outlet presentation, cleanliness, maintenance, beverage quality, and inventory control.
Requirements
- Passion for cocktails and beverage craft.
- Ability to train and mentor restaurant colleagues on cocktails.
- Awareness of current beverage trends and ability to innovate the offering.
- Ability to support revenue targets and control costs within set budgets.
