Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as food science, environmental health or quality management.
- Certification in relevant ISO standards, including ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 10002.
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role within a five-star hotel.

Compliance, hygiene and quality
- Monitor compliance with ISO, EN 15288, GSTC sustainability and occupational health and safety management standards; conduct audits and follow up corrective actions.
- Develop food-safety and hygiene protocols, deliver training, maintain training records and lead HACCP meetings.
- Inspect hotel receiving, storage, kitchen, food-and-beverage, spa, room, laundry and children’s club areas; inspect vendors as needed.
- Analyze service-performance scores and root causes, and work with department heads on improvement plans.
Sustainability, customer experience and training
- Oversee waste management, energy efficiency and water conservation to reduce the hotel’s environmental footprint.
- Collaborate with departments on customer-satisfaction improvements, swimming-safety compliance, recreation services and sustainability initiatives.
- Deliver technical, skills and operational training on standards, food safety and hotel procedures.
- Protect quality-management documentation and performance information confidentially; carry out other reasonable assigned duties.
