QA/QC Engineer joining a construction team to implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures.
The role verifies construction activities against approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain project QA/QC procedures and plans.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor civil, structural, and finishing work.
- Review ITPs, Method Statements, Material Submittals, and other quality documents.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Prepare inspection requests, quality reports, checklists, and test records.
- Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor material testing, laboratory results, and compliance with approved specifications.
- Participate in quality audits, site meetings, and project handover activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant construction QA/QC experience.
- Knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and technical documentation.
- Experience with ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, and material approvals.
- Communication, coordination, reporting, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- High-rise, residential, commercial, or large-scale civil construction experience is preferred.
Pay
- AED 7,000–9,000 per month.
