Manage and supervise electrical works for building construction projects.
Ensure installations follow approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and supervise site electrical work and review drawings, submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
- Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, firefighting, civil, structural, and architectural teams.
- Monitor site activities, workforce, materials, progress, inspections, approvals, and technical submissions.
- Resolve technical and drawing issues while maintaining QA/QC, HSE, and authority compliance.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification, as-built drawings, and handover documents.
- Report progress, technical issues, and potential delays to the Project Manager.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant electrical engineering and site execution experience in building construction.
- UAE or GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, lighting, cable routing, earthing, and testing and commissioning.
- Experience reviewing electrical drawings, technical submittals, material approvals, and project specifications.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical regulations and authority requirements, including DEWA standards where applicable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; electrical design or BIM software knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong technical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to coordinate site activities and teams.
Pay
- AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
