QA Engineer

Role overview

What you'll own

• Design tests across mobile, web, and backend products; investigate root causes developers can address.
• Join product and technical grooming to identify risks before development starts.
• Expand test coverage and regression suites with the Automation team, and help decide what to automate versus test manually.
• Own testing for assigned Scrum commitments, including regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing as needed.
• Apply AI tools and agents to test-scenario creation, requirement analysis, and reducing repetitive work; share learnings.
• Implement an AI-driven QA initiative by month six, measure impact, and present results to Engineering.

What tells us you're the one

• At least 2 years of hands-on QA experience, including test design, bug lifecycle management, and root-cause analysis.
• Evidence of improving a measurable quality outcome in a real product or service.
• Startup or fast-paced technology experience and ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining ownership.
• Practical experience using AI tools in QA or development, supported by a concrete example.
• Understanding of automation concepts and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar; automation coding is not required.
• Experience with mobile, web, and backend systems and their testing implications.

Workplace

• Full-time, on-site role in Dubai, UAE.
