Proposal Analyst - Enterprise Payments

Role overview

Proposal analysis and responses

• Provides initial RFx analysis to support bid/no-bid decisions and owns assigned questions for Enterprise Payments RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and related sales documents.
• Interprets complex or ambiguous requirements and develops opportunity-specific responses on functionality, integrations, security, compliance, reporting, service, and support.
• Validates responses against product documentation, demonstrations, release information, approved positioning, and subject-matter experts.
• Reviews proposal content for accuracy, clarity, completeness, consistency, grammar, tone, compliance, and style; manages multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Participates in proposal planning, kickoff, review, and solutioning meetings and maintains product knowledge.

Collaboration and content library

• Coordinates with proposal teams and product management, information security, compliance, development, sales, and other subject-matter experts to research and approve responses.
• Escalates product gaps, dependencies, third-party components, roadmap items, exceptions, and potential contractual commitments.
• Captures approved responses for reuse and develops and organizes a searchable library of recurring Enterprise Payments responses.
• Reviews library content for outdated, duplicative, incomplete, inconsistent, unowned, or underused entries; tracks content gaps and reuse to guide improvements.
• Contributes to proposal processes, writing standards, content-management practices, tools, templates, and team training.
• May assist with proposal project management or functional checklists for other products as team needs require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, business, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and responding to technical, functional, security, or integration requirements in RFPs, RFIs, questionnaires, or similar customer documents.
• Demonstrated success writing and editing clear, persuasive, accurate, client-focused proposal content.
• Ability to understand software, technical concepts, integrations, and business processes and translate them into accurate, accessible customer-facing language.
• Experience in payments, financial technology, enterprise software, public-sector software, or complex technology solutions is preferred.
• Public-sector RFP, functional-requirement, technical-questionnaire, or security-assessment experience is preferred.

Compensation

• Listed compensation is USD 75,000–90,000 yearly.
