The Payment Sales Analyst supports transactional revenue through payment analysis, project scoping, proposal development, and client-facing sales work.
The role combines payment-processing knowledge, analytical skills, and commercial judgment and reports to the Manager, Payments Pricing.
Responsibilities
- Support sales attainment for transactional revenue products and maintain knowledge of Tyler Payments products and initiatives.
- Analyze transaction costs and economics to determine effective rates and develop client proposals.
- Monitor market and competitor pricing and changes in the government payments ecosystem.
- Attend product sprint reviews and support and implementation calls to understand strategy and roadmap items.
- Assess client needs, provide quotes, and work with sales teams to scope payment projects and prepare accurate proposals.
- Advise clients and sales teams on payment functionality, pricing, project scope, industry standards, and payment needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in payments, fintech, financial services, pricing, commercial strategy, or a related field.
- Strong payment-processing economics knowledge and experience developing pricing strategies, financial models, or commercial recommendations.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with complex datasets; advanced Excel and financial modeling proficiency.
- SQL, BI tools, or analytics platform experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; degree in Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
Compensation
- Listed salary range is USD 60,000–70,000 yearly.
