Project Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, mobilisation, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Prepare and monitor programmes, budgets, manpower plans, procurement schedules, and resource requirements.
• Manage engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, MEP, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE activities.
• Monitor project costs, margins, productivity, material usage, and subcontractor performance.
• Manage variations, progress claims, payment applications, and contractual correspondence.
• Conduct site visits, manage delivery risks, and implement corrective actions and recovery plans.
• Maintain safety, quality, and authority compliance; oversee inspections, handover, and project closeout.
• Report progress, financial performance, resource needs, and risks to Group Management.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant contracting and construction experience, including project management experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience delivering projects from mobilisation through handover.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgets, contracts, procurement, variations, and cost control.
• Ability to read technical drawings, assess requirements, and resolve execution challenges.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Proficiency in project planning and reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, planning, and communication skills.
• Strong written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
• PMP or equivalent qualification is preferred; a UAE driving licence is also preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 5,400 to AED 18,000 per month.

• Work location is in person.
