Role overview

Project delivery

• Lead civil construction projects from commencement through successful completion and handover.
• Develop and implement project execution plans, construction schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, scope of work, and technical requirements.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, and schedules.
• Monitor progress, productivity, manpower, materials, plant, equipment, and site resources.
• Coordinate with planning, commercial, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and other project teams.
• Monitor costs, variations, claims, commitments, and commercial performance.
• Identify delays, risks, technical issues, and resource constraints, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage subcontractor performance and lead project meetings and performance reporting.
• Ensure QA/QC, HSE, contractual, and regulatory compliance; review reports, method statements, submittals, inspection requests, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, rectification, commissioning, completion, and final handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering or construction discipline.
• 12–15 years of relevant civil construction experience, including proven experience in a Project Manager role.
• Proven track record managing large-scale civil construction projects from inception through completion and handover.
• Experience in masterplan developments, residential communities, and townhouse projects is highly preferred.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with applicable UAE construction regulations, standards, and authority requirements is an advantage.

Technical and leadership capabilities

• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, project management principles, contracts, commercial practices, and construction methodologies.
• Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, cost control, variations, claims, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, multidisciplinary teams, competing priorities, and demanding deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.

Pay

• AED 25,000–30,000 per month.
