Manage, supervise, and ensure successful execution of civil works in 380 kV substation projects (HV/MV).
Deliver work in compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, contract requirements, and safety and quality guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise civil site works including foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, equipment foundations, roads, and fencing.
- Ensure work complies with SEC standards, drawings, and specifications.
- Review civil designs, drawings, and shop drawings; coordinate approvals with engineering consultants and contractors.
- Coordinate with SEC representatives, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to support timely progress.
- Plan and schedule construction activities to meet project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor materials and workmanship, conduct inspections, and ensure QA/QC requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with site health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection requests, material approvals, and other project documentation.
- Assist with technical issues, variations, and claims related to civil works.
- Support the Project Manager in progress meetings and report civil work status and challenges.
- Complete and hand over civil works in time for electrical equipment installation and substation commissioning.

Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in EPC substation projects within Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects is preferred.
- A strong track record delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule is preferred.
- Immediate availability with SEC approval or transferable iqama is an added advantage.
