Manage and supervise civil works for 380 kV substation projects (HV/MV), ensuring execution meets SEC standards, contract requirements, safety, and quality guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise substation civil works, including foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, equipment foundations, roads, and fencing.
- Ensure compliance with SEC standards, drawings, specifications, safety, and quality requirements.
- Review civil designs, drawings, and shop drawings and coordinate approvals with consultants and contractors.
- Coordinate with SEC representatives, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to maintain progress.
- Plan and schedule civil activities to meet project timelines and milestones.
- Inspect materials and workmanship and ensure QA/QC requirements are met.
- Enforce HSE standards at the project site.
- Maintain progress reports, inspection requests, and material approvals.
- Assist with technical issues, variations, and claims related to civil works.
- Support the Project Manager in progress meetings and report civil-work status and challenges.
- Complete and hand over civil works for electrical equipment installation and substation commissioning.

Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in EPC substation projects within Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Exposure to SEC, National Grid SA, or major utility projects is preferred.
- A track record of delivering substation civil works safely, within budget, and on schedule is preferred.
- Immediate availability with SEC approval or transferable iqama is an added advantage.
