Typical activities
- Analyze and define planning principles; define and validate power system models.
- Improve planning methods for renewable and BESS integration, demand evolution, and transmission investment optimization.
- Connect techno-economic models to define critical operating points.
- Perform steady-state analysis, including load flow, short-circuit calculations, and hosting-capacity assessments.
- Perform dynamic stability analysis covering frequency, transient, and voltage stability.
- Support grid reliability and security analysis, including capacity calculation, balancing, and operational planning.
- Write analysis reports and support business development through client relationships and proposals.
Candidate profile
- Master's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of power system planning experience.
- Experience may cover master planning, transmission investment pre-feasibility, renewable integration, or BESS optimization.
- Mastery of PowerFactory and PSSE simulation tools.
- Fluent English, good oral presentation skills, and a team-player approach.
- Arabic knowledge is a strong asset.
