Role overview

The Junior Power System Engineer joins project teams and progressively takes responsibility for real-life power system studies.

The role includes training and support from experienced specialists, with responsibilities developing according to skills and interests.

Typical activities

  • Support development of power system consultancy services in Saudi Arabia and collect data.
  • Build, update, and validate power system models.
  • Contribute to renewable energy and battery storage integration studies.
  • Perform load flow, short circuit, hosting capacity, and transient stability simulations.
  • Prepare structured technical reports and presentations.
  • Gradually join client interactions and proposal preparation alongside senior experts.

Candidate profile

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 0–3 years of experience; recent graduates are welcome.
  • Basic knowledge of power systems and transmission networks.
  • First exposure to PowerFactory or PSS®E is a plus.
  • Applicants should be curious, proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working in teams and international settings.
  • Good English communication skills; Arabic is an asset.
