Role summary

EAM/APM delivery and processes

• Lead or support requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, and implementation of EAM/APM platforms or similar solutions.
• Act as a functional subject-matter expert during implementation projects, upgrades, and rollouts; support configuration, validation, testing, and user acceptance.
• Conduct current-state and target-state assessments, gap analyses, and process-harmonization workshops.
• Design processes for work management, preventive and condition-based maintenance, asset lifecycle and replacement planning, and failure and defect management.
• Develop process flows, functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and solution design documents.

Reliability, analytics, and data

• Contribute to RCM, RBM, FMECA/FMEA, asset health index, and risk-based maintenance frameworks for utility asset classes.
• Translate reliability and risk models into system logic, thresholds, and workflows.
• Support condition monitoring, asset health scoring, failure probability and criticality assessment, and predictive and diagnostic analytics use cases.
• Work with data and analytics teams on asset-centric data structures and support asset data quality, cleansing, master data alignment, hierarchies, naming conventions, and governance.

System integration

• Support EAM functional alignment with SCADA and condition monitoring systems, EMS, GIS, ERP, Field Service Management, and reporting and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams by providing functional integration input; the role is not an integration architect position.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 12–15+ years of experience in EAM and APM implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of electric utility operations, including transmission and distribution and substations.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, IBM MAS, or similar EAM/APM platforms.
• Experience in RCM, FMECA, APM, asset health, failure analysis, and maintenance optimization.
