Works with project managers, engineers, QS/commercial teams, site teams, and management to provide information on progress, delays, resources, and expected completion dates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6; review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to develop realistic schedules.
- Prepare and monitor manpower, material, equipment, and resource plans; track weekly progress against the approved baseline or programme.
- Identify delays, constraints, and problem areas early; analyze critical paths and activities that may affect completion.
- Prepare weekly progress, schedule update, and management reports; collect team progress information and update the programme.
- Analyze schedule risks and recommend corrective actions or recovery plans; assess schedule impacts of variations and changes.
- Prepare delay notices and EOT claims supported by project records and contractual requirements; ensure planning and claims follow contract requirements.
Experience and education
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in the related field.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office.
- UAE driving license is required.
- Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills; able to focus under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Communication skills for working with project teams.
