Role overview

Project delivery

• Plan, manage, and supervise projects from mobilization through execution and final handover.
• Oversee softscape works, including planting, turfing, tree transplantation, soil preparation, and plant establishment.
• Manage hardscape works, including paving, kerbs, walkways, retaining walls, pergolas, and other external landscape features.
• Supervise irrigation installation, including pipelines, valves, pumps, sprinklers, and drip irrigation systems.
• Review landscape drawings, irrigation layouts, BOQs, specifications, and method statements.
• Develop schedules, manpower plans, equipment requirements, and material procurement schedules.
• Monitor progress, productivity, resources, and costs for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Manage engineers, supervisors, foremen, technicians, subcontractors, and labour teams.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, civil and MEP teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Quality, commercial, and handover duties

• Inspect sites for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Ensure materials, plants, soil, irrigation components, and hardscape products meet requirements and receive approvals.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost variations, minimize material wastage, and support variation claims and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and applicable UAE regulations and authority requirements.
• Resolve technical and operational issues, address delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for senior management.
• Coordinate irrigation inspections, testing and commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
• Maintain client relationships and support customer satisfaction throughout project execution.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10–12+ years of relevant landscape construction experience, including managerial experience leading projects and site teams.
• Strong experience in softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and external landscape works.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractors, manpower, materials, budgets, and schedules.

Knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of landscape construction methods, plant selection, soil preparation, irrigation installation, and UAE climatic conditions.
• Ability to read landscape drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project or Primavera experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications

• UAE landscaping project experience is highly preferred.
• A valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
