Hyde is seeking a General Cashier / Paymaster in Dubai to manage cash transactions, financial records, and accurate payroll processing.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions, receive payments, issue receipts, and manage petty cash.
- Process employee payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily.
- Operate POS systems and cash registers.
- Prepare regular financial reports for management.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed.
- Respond to employee questions about payroll and financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
- Work with other departments to resolve discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain cash control procedures to prevent loss and fraud.
Requirements
- Oasys System experience is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar cashier or paymaster role.
- Proven cash-handling and financial record-keeping experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with POS systems.
- Customer service skills, professionalism, mathematical aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Ability to protect sensitive financial information, stay organized, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
- Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and practices is preferred.
