Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Office and night team and ensure smooth hotel operations as Manager on Duty.
• Complete and oversee nightly audits and revenue reconciliation.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and escalations; uphold service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain guest, team, and property safety; coordinate emergency and incident responses.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Finance, Engineering, and Revenue Management.
• Schedule night staff, coordinate breaks, and ensure shift coverage.
• Inspect the property and conduct quality checks for cleanliness, functionality, and guest readiness.
• Identify revenue opportunities and support upselling to improve occupancy and ancillary revenue.
• Coach night team members and provide support and feedback.
• Prepare shift reports and handover notes covering incidents, guest feedback, and operational matters.

Qualifications

• Proven night management or supervisory experience in hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, guest-service orientation, organization, and time management.
• Advanced proficiency with property management systems such as Opera, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of security protocols, safety procedures, and emergency response management.
• Cash-handling experience and financial reconciliation proficiency.
• Able to work flexible overnight shifts, typically 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, across a rotating roster.
• Resilience, adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
