Artisan Bakers seeks a motivated Pastry Commis to join its pastry team.
The candidate should have an interest in pastry and baking, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pastry team with daily preparation and production.
- Prepare ingredients, mise en place, and basic pastry components according to recipes.
- Assist with cakes, pastries, breads, desserts, and other pastry items.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food-safety standards.
- Store and label ingredients and prepared products properly.
- Keep workstations, equipment, and pastry areas clean and organized.
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
- Follow company policies and health and safety procedures.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,500–2,800 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in pastry and baking.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
