Role overview

Own product planning and iteration for Bybit’s P2P trading platform, improving efficiency, liquidity, and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize ad sequencing, request matching, order creation, payment confirmation, dispute handling, and merchant management.
  • Improve transaction conversion and completion through better user journeys, payment experiences, and trading interactions.
  • Analyze payment disputes, fraud, order cancellations, and malicious-user scenarios with risk control teams.
  • Create buyer and seller protections such as escrow, appeals, and risk alerts.
  • Monitor completion, dispute, liquidity, transaction-volume, and retention metrics and optimize using data.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer support, compliance, and risk teams on platform governance and trading experience.
  • Research users and markets to identify growth opportunities and improve marketplace supply-demand dynamics.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of product management experience in P2P marketplaces, second-hand trading, e-commerce, fintech, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace transaction models, user behavior, and trust and safety.
  • Ability to analyze complex user problems and optimize transaction flows with data-driven decisions.
  • Strong user experience mindset and ability to design efficient, intuitive trading interactions.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and project management skills, including independently driving initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or platform governance familiarity is a plus.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with cryptocurrency exchanges or P2P crypto trading platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with second-hand marketplace products or peer-to-peer transaction platforms is preferred.
  • Experience optimizing conversion, liquidity, or retention metrics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with payment systems, escrow mechanisms, or risk control processes is preferred.
