The role leads daily operations, manages the team, delivers guest experiences, and supports outlet profitability.
Operations and guest experience
- Manage daily operations and maintain high service, hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- Anticipate guest needs, handle feedback, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Supervise, train, motivate, schedule, and monitor team performance.
- Maximize revenue through upselling; control costs, minimize waste, and manage inventory.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and SOP compliance through audits and training.
- Coordinate promotions and events with marketing; collaborate with kitchen, bar, and other F&B outlets.
- Report on sales, guest feedback, staff performance, and operational needs; recommend improvements.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial food and beverage operations role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to inspire a team.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, cost control, and POS systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); F&B software knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent guest service skills, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Compliance and sustainability
- Maintain sustainable practices, improve resource efficiency, minimize waste, and support eco-friendly, social, and ethical initiatives aligned with hotel ESG and CSR objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements, international and ISO standards, health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Oversee compliant food safety and hygiene practices for purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication, and preparation.
