Afreen Group seeks an Assistant Engineer for technical and operations coordination in its Oil & Gas Division.
The role supports technical enquiries, sales coordination, procurement, project documentation, inventory, and material deliveries.
The division serves Oil & Gas, MEP, and industrial materials trading sectors.
Responsibilities
- Review enquiries, specifications, BOQs, and RFQs and coordinate quotation preparation.
- Track enquiries, quotations, orders, and customer follow-ups with sales executives.
- Coordinate supplier quotations, price comparisons, product availability, and purchase orders.
- Support ADNOC, NMDC, EPC contractor, and infrastructure project requirements.
- Verify specifications for pipes, fittings, valves, flanges, and other industrial materials.
- Monitor stock, shortages, and replenishment; coordinate warehouse, logistics, and deliveries.
- Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, tender documents, and material certificates.
- Maintain ERP records, trackers, quotation reports, and daily updates; coordinate delivery notes and invoices with accounts.
Qualifications and requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of UAE experience in Oil & Gas, MEP, piping, building materials trading, or EPC procurement is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial materials, material grades, relevant technical standards, and technical drawings, BOQs, datasheets, and specifications.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems; strong communication, coordination, reporting, and follow-up skills.
- A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
