The employer is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations in Dubai.
The description lists 1–2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries, vouchers, receipts, and payments.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
- Support monthly closing and statement reconciliations.
- Prepare invoices, follow up on LPOs, and track payments.
- Maintain and file financial documents.
- Assist the senior accountant with audits and reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
