The HSE Officer supports health, safety, and environmental practices across company operations.
The role helps maintain a safe workplace, identify hazards, and promote safety awareness.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
- Prepare risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Monitor compliance with company HSE policies and applicable safety requirements.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee awareness sessions.
- Monitor the correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and training documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness, fire safety checks, and evacuation drills.
- Coordinate with management and employees to improve workplace safety.
Requirements
- NEBOSH certification is described as mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least one year of relevant experience as an HSE Officer, Safety Officer, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and occupational health and safety practices.
- Good communication, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Ability to identify safety concerns and follow through on corrective actions.
