Financial and credit duties
- Verify figures, postings, and documents; maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
- Record and analyze computerized financial information and compile accounting records using journals, ledgers, or computers.
- Prepare, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, and payroll reports and tables.
- Prepare, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Review and process card vouchers, deposits, overpayments, cancelled reservations, tax exemptions, and voucher invoices.
- Resolve account questions and disputes with guests, shared services, card companies, and banks.
- Conduct credit checks, follow up on past-due accounts, and manage check-guarantee accounts and collections.
Team and service duties
- Assist with training, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees; act as a role model and first contact for fair-treatment concerns.
- Follow company policies, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
- Address guest service needs, communicate professionally, prepare accurate documents, and maintain positive working relationships.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No license or certification is listed.
