The role is full time, non-management, and not remote.
The position supports Sales & Marketing and guest reservations operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
- Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.
- Determine and provide guest gifts such as reward points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
- Promote brand image awareness internally and externally.
- Process Marriott Rewards point cancellation requests.
- Process room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information using appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Perform general office tasks to support Sales and Marketing, such as filing, emailing, transcribing, and faxing.
- Assist management in training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
- Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets and confidential information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address their service needs.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
