Mortgage Broker specializing in home loans and comparing options to identify suitable loans for customers’ financial circumstances.
Supports Fam Properties real estate agents by helping their clients meet financing goals.
Responsibilities
- Meet performance targets, prospect, and organize meetings.
- Fact-find to establish clients’ current finances and future aspirations.
- Provide independent mortgage advice and explain available mortgage types.
- Explain required insurance products so clients can make informed choices.
- Communicate with estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and insurance providers.
- Complete regulatory documentation within required timescales.
- Present results in targeted areas at monthly meetings with the Sales Manager.
- Support additional income streams, promote company values and the FAM brand, and maintain relevant financial-services knowledge.
Key skills and experience
- Previous work in banking or a sales environment.
- Good communication and listening skills, including explaining complex information clearly and simply.
- Organization, attention to detail, customer service skills, and respect for confidential information.
- Self-motivation, willingness to learn, interest in the financial sector, and ability to demonstrate excellence in the field.
- Willingness to work academically and practically.
